Academic

Dr. Wei Lu is currently a Researcher at the Information Security Centre of eXcellence for the Faculty of Computer Science, University of New Brunswick and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria in 2005. Before starting his PhD at UVic, he worked with the Bell Laboratories (Asia & Pacific), Lucent Technologies Inc. as a Junior Member of Technical Staff (MTS-1). After completing his PhD, he worked with a German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence associated with German Telecom as a Member of Research Staff.
