Academic Ali Shiravi is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of New Brunswick, Faculty of Computer Science. He has started his PhD studies since September 2008. He is currently conducting research specifically in the area of anomaly based network intrusion detection systems through the use of Graph Theory concepts. He is a member of the network security visualization group and he is also involved with generation network traffic through their testbed.
